Select a product to estimate shipping.3M Precision Masking Tape is excellent for critical edge paint performance, helping auto body painters produce sharp paint lines using solvent and waterborne paint systems. Its ultra thin paper backing helps produce very low paint edges, yet it’s strong enough to pull through layers of color and clear coat. The tape is ideal for two-tone separation, bumper black out areas and back masking.

About 3M
At 3M, we apply science in ways to improve lives daily. More than a century ago, 3M started as a small-scale mining venture in Northern Minnesota, then named Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company. Our products improve the daily lives of people around the world. But our success and longevity were not apparent from the start. We tried. We failed. We tried something new. Repeat cycle. Innovation and perseverance drove our founders, and it continues to drive 3Mers today.
